Dean Griffith, a graduate of Northwestern University and the third Griffith family member to oversee the company, has worked in and around the family business his entire life. From the early days of accompanying his grandfather on business trips to his current role as a visionary leader, Dean Griffith has lived and breathed Griffith Laboratories. After Dean and Lois met and were married, their life immediately became focused on the company they affectionately called "The Lab".
Dean and Lois partnered both in life and in business and together they successfully followed Dean's life-long vision of building a global company to serve the worldwide food industry. Having been raised in a family running a multigenerational family business, Dean found a true confidant in Lois who was also raised around a three-generation family business. Lois' experience with her family's business, and observing her mother working closely with her father, gave her insight into the special needs surrounding family businesses. This training made it quite natural for her to fit into the same role with Dean and Griffith Laboratories.
Dean and Lois have both made a great impact on Griffith Laboratories and have successfully steered the company through the issues surrounding multi-generational family-owned businesses. Through their entrepreneurial spirit and determination, they have strengthened the company and grown it internationally by expanding into new markets. Following Dean's vision, the couple has spent most of their lives traveling and exploring the world searching for new markets and opportunities. They share a love for travel and a passion to keep Griffith Laboratories a strong private company. Through Dean's vision and Lois' encouragement, Griffith Laboratories has grown into a truly global company that today serves the worldwide food industry.
