Griffith Laboratories was founded in 1919 by father and son E.L. and C.L. Griffith. Their founding focus was to bring science and innovation to the food industry. Through the years, the company has changed but the focus has remained the same. They implemented their vision through dedication, hard work and the help of excellent employees.

Today, chairman Dean Griffith, with the help of his son Brian, the inspiration of his wife Lois, and the hard work of the people employed at Griffith, continues to carry on the tradition of his father and grandfather. Under Dean's watch, the company has become a firmly established private global company that serves large international companies, international mid-sized companies as well as small companies that have the potential for growth.

Under Dean's guidance, Griffith has expanded into a global food ingredient manufacturer with a presence in 23 countries worldwide. These companies serve local, regional and global accounts in both the food processing and food service markets. The emphasis for Dean is to continue what his father and grandfather started. Similar to his father's and grandfather's early vision, Dean Griffith's endeavors to combine consumer insight, industry experience, science and creativity to make the world's food better.
